6 Sigma Training

White Belt
This half day introductory training is designed to offer a basic understanding of Six Sigma and Lean. It introduces the DMAIC process (Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control) and provides students with an understanding of the individual elements involved in the process. It also teaches techniques to effectively reduce resources and waste and increase productivity and customer services satisfaction.

Yellow Belt
The yellow belt from Six Sigma is a three-day course. It is aimed at the professional who is new to the world of Six Sigma and wants to develop their fundamental knowledge of the process. Upon completion, the yellow belt graduate will be able to lead some improvement projects and be a valuable part of a team involved in more complex projects. Information and processes covered in the yellow belt course include SIPOC Diagrams, process mapping, C&E matrix, effects analysis and failure modes, fundamental statistics, Minitab introduction, and developing graphs.

Green Belt
The green belt from Six Sigma is a ten-day course designed for the professional who is already well versed in the core elements of the Six Sigma methodology and who is able to lead improvement projects or participate as part of a team. At the end of the course the green belt graduate will be able to analyze and solve quality problems, lead more complex projects and apply Lean Six Sigma at a high level of proficiency. In this course, concepts including Six Sigma deployment, Process Mapping, Input Prioritization Tools, Minitab 17 Introduction, One Way ANOVA, Measurement Systems, Statistical Process Control, Test for Mean with t-test, and Process Control Plan will be extensively covered.

Black Belt
A black belt holder is a professional who is able to lead complex improvement projects and deploy skills enterprise-wide, typically in a full-time capacity.  A Black Belt demonstrates team leadership, understands team dynamics and is able to assign team member roles and responsibilities. This ten-day course focuses on advanced strategies and includes such processes as Advanced MSA, Advanced Capability, Multiple Regression, Nested Anova and DOE Planning.

Kaizen & Lean
A full day training dedicated to this highly effective strategy blend. Kaizen is a business technique developed in post-war Japan in which constant improvements are made by monitoring processes and providing ongoing adjustments. Kaizen is Japanese for “change for the better” or “improvement”. In this methodology, large-scale project re-vamping is replaced by smaller experiments in order to be more flexible to rapid adaptation as new improvements are suggested. A Kaizen training is paired with Lean. Lean is a systematic method that minimizes waste of all types and therefore maximizes efficiency. This training will enable the students to learn how the role of change management is important throughout the lean transformation with Kaizen approach.
